Pink Sea Squirt

Shipwreck

The pink sea squirt often grows individually or in small groups – under stones, and on rock walls and wrecks. It prefers a shady environment shying away from sunlight.
For food intake, it swirls plankton and organic food particles into its well-protected interior – inwards via a large inflow hole and outwards via a lateral outflow hole.
